Blue Smarties

Just to keep a balance, here are the English forerunners of M&Ms. For the record, in 1937 the English company Rowntree introduced Chocolate Niblet Beans. One year later they were renamed Smarties. In 1941, Forest Mars Sr. copied this idea, calling his product M&Ms. In 2003, Kathryn Ratcliffe ate 138 Smarties in three minutes using chopsticks, and entered the Guinness Book of Records. You can look it up.
