There’s an exhibition called Blues for Smoke at the Whitney in New York City. Here’s how the New York Times reviewed it. The show has this nice piece in it: David Hammons’s Chasing the Blue Train. And while you look at it, you’ll hear bits of Coltrane and Monk. The photo is by Karsten Moran.
